It was the first album in the series which did not chart in the UK Albums Chart as the UK Compilation Chart was created in January 1989.

The album was [[Now That's What I Call Music 14 (2023 reissue)|reissued 14th April 2023]]. The track list is the same but missing Phil Collins "Two Hearts" and INXS "Need You Tonight".
